He is pretty strict and sticking to the rules, acting more like a machine than a emotional person sometimes. He clearly stated what is allowed and what is forbidden in the orientation. He has a mentality that the "Winner-Take-All".

He preferred consequences rather than the process as he cheated in the Quidditch game. Also he keeps being mean to his teammates and Billy.
